National Beef Cook-Off®

For 15 consecutive years, Schaffner Communications was the public relations firm of record for the National Beef Cook-Off, an annual event in which 50 of the nation’s top amateur beef chefs (one from each state) competed at a national contest with the hopes that their original beef recipe would named the year’s best. During Schaffner’s 15-year tenure managing the event, publicity totals for the national winning recipe increased exponentially and the event itself grew to become the second largest consumer food contest in the U.S.
